We will take a look at the key sites right in the middle of the legendary Silk Road leading from East Asia to the Mediterranean. Nowadays part of Uzbekistan, the cities of Bukhara, Khiva and Samarkand have benefited from their location on this historic route.

Fergana Valley


Fergana Valley is the most populous part of Uzbekistan, but it is usually neglected by tourists. Unjustly? Well, see for yourself by looking at the architectural gems in Kokand, for instance.
